Wembley Stadium – one of the world’s most famous stadiums

Wembley Stadium is one of the world’s most famous stadiums. It is a world-class venue that hosts some of the biggest events in sports, music, and entertainment and attracts more than 2 million visitors every year.

Wembley re-opened in May 2007 on the same site as the much favorite former stadium. The 133m high arch stadium has become a new symbol of London and now is instantly recognizable around the world. The new stadium has immediately re-established itself as the ultimate live event experience and as the home of English football.

Wembley is the largest football stadium and entertainment venue in the UK. With a legendary history, it provides the first-class experience for football, music, and sports fans. Therefore, it is the perfect venue to host the world’s most important live events.

Wembley is also home to the England national football team, as well as The Football League Cup Final, The Rugby League Challenge Cup Final, the FA Cup Final and Semi Finals, The Football League Play-Off Finals and The FA Community Shield. In addition, it regularly hosts other major sporting events such as regular season NFL games and is also worldwide known for its epic music concerts.

Wembley Stadium, belonging to The Football Association, is operated by Wembley National Stadium Limite of The FA Group. Located in Wembley in the northwest of London, it is a public transport destination that links to many major regional and international transport routes. It can be conveniently accessed through the public rail and underground network of London and is served by five train lines and three stations.

Wembley Stadium has set new standards for visitors and performers and has state of the art facilities. All of its 90,000 seats are spacious, enjoy spectacular and close to the action, uninterrupted views of the action. Its concourses are wide and easily accessed via stairs, lifts, and escalators.

Moreover, Wembley Stadium also offers many other facilities to fans, including plasma screens, cash machines, and more toilets than any other buildings in the world.
