National Training Program

For excellent interpretation, build a strong foundation!

*Revisions underway by Training Development Committee!*

At least 4000 Canadian interpreters have been trained directly over the past fifteen years though our module training program. Now it is time for an update.

From classic principles to state-of-the art skills, IC training modules have gone beyond performance and knowledge standards to build confidence, creativity and competency. The face to face format has allowed workshop activities and interaction with colleagues for lively and inspiring learning experiences. Neophytes, experienced interpreters, and mixed groups have all benefited.

In the future, what form will training take? Check back later or contact Sue Ellen Fast at editor@interpcan.ca.
