Welcome to Interpretation Canada!
Interpretation Canada (IC) is a non-profit association of contributing members with a focus on professional development.
Mission:
We are a community that supports, engages, and inspires those involved in the field of Heritage Interpretation in Canada.
Vision:
Heritage Interpreters across Canada value Interpretation Canada as their link to a diverse and thriving community of professionals.
Around 500 members participate in IC. Canadian interpreters first gathered in 1973 to establish the organization that would become IC. Check out the growing list of programs, online resources, entry forms and more at this website, as we continue to boost our accessibility nation-wide!

IN – Institution/Corporate $180.00
• two print copies of each issue of InterpScan (biannual)

IC – Small Institution/Consultant $90.00 (biannual)
• one print copy of each issue of InterpScan

PR – Individual Professional $60.00
• your own copy of each issue of InterpScan (biannual)
• access for one person (you) to most member programs
• discount on workshops and conferences when possible
• multi-year membership discount option of 10% per year
SV – Individual Student/Volunteer $45.00
This category is subsidized by other members to support access to folks in this category.

Non-Member Category
SU - InterpScan Subscription $70.00
A non-membership category aimed at libraries.

All categories except SU include voting privileges for one person at IC meetings and eligibility to stand for election. Please respect the many volunteer contributions and donations involved in our association. Choose a group category if IC resources are to be shared, or encourage your colleagues to join as individual members too. Membership fees are IC's main funding source. Your support is appreciated!
